Quick Answer
Only if your contract says so in writing. Under US copyright law, work made by an outside designer belongs to the designer unless a signed agreement transfers it to you. UK law treats commissioned work the same way. Many subscription contracts hand over finished files but stay vague on ownership or hold back the editable sources. Before you sign, check for three things: a written copyright assignment, delivery of editable source files, and clear terms on stock images and fonts. PitchWorx transfers ownership of all delivered work and source files in its unlimited design subscription, with no lock-in.

Why ownership gets skipped
Small business owners compare design subscriptions on price and speed. Few read the ownership clause, yet that clause decides whether you can edit your own logo next year, hand your deck to a new designer, or take your brand files with you when you cancel.
"We have rebuilt a lot of brands from screenshots because the original files were never handed over," said Dharmendra, founder of PitchWorx. "After 13 years in this industry, our view is simple. Ownership belongs in the first line of the contract, not the fine print."
What US and UK law say
In the US, the Copyright Act makes the creator of a design its owner. A commissioned design becomes yours only through a signed written assignment, or in a narrow set of "work made for hire" categories that most brand and marketing work does not fit. In the UK, the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 follows the same logic: a freelance or agency designer owns the work unless it is assigned to you in writing.
Two more points catch buyers out:
- Stock photos and fonts are licensed, not owned. You get the right to use them under their license terms. No subscription can transfer ownership of a third-party font.
- Copyright and source files are separate. A contract can give you copyright but only flattened PNGs and PDFs. You need both.
This release is general information, not legal advice. Have a lawyer review any contract before you sign.
Unlimited vs active requests
This is the most misunderstood term in any unlimited design subscription.
- Unlimited means no cap on how many requests you add to your queue each month.
- Active means how many requests the team works on at the same time.
PitchWorx runs two active requests. When one is delivered, the next one in your queue starts. You can queue 30 requests and the team works through them two at a time. The active number, not the word "unlimited," is what tells you real monthly output.
How the PitchWorx subscription works
- Start a 7-day free trial with a real brief.
- Onboarding week: the team builds your brand system, colors, type and templates.
- Submit requests through the dashboard. Your whole team can log in.
- Most requests arrive in about 72 hours. AI agents speed up the first draft, and senior designers review every file before it ships.
- Unlimited revisions until it is right.
- You own the delivered work and editable files in PowerPoint, Keynote, Google Slides, Figma or Adobe formats.
- Cancel anytime. No contract. Everything delivered stays yours.
Service categories
One plan covers eight categories:
- Presentation design: pitch decks, sales decks, board and investor presentations, handled by a dedicated deck team
- Branding design: logos, brand identity, brand guidelines and refreshes
- Marketing design: social creatives, ads, email graphics, landing page visuals
- Web design and development: websites, landing pages, microsites
- Video and motion: explainers, logo animation, reels
- Print and outdoor: brochures, packaging, signage
- Books and magazines: layouts, annual reports
- Illustration and infographics
Because decks go to a separate team, a presentation design subscription request never waits behind a social media banner. Brand work runs the same way, so the branding design subscription side delivers logo files, guidelines and templates you keep outright.
Pricing compared
PitchWorx Creative Assist costs $699 per month, flat, for US and UK clients alike. That one price covers the presentation design subscription, the Branding design subscription and every other category above.

|---|---|
| Penji | $499 |
| ManyPixels | $699 |
| PitchWorx Creative Assist | $699 |
| Flocksy | $1,199 |
| Kimp (Graphics) | $1,397 |
| Superside | about $5,000 |
| US in-house designer | $5,000+ (over $60,000 a year before benefits) |

Case study
PitchWorx's published client results include:
- A Boston medical device manufacturer recorded a 41% increase in sales conversion rate after rolling out new product presentations.
- A New York investment firm reported client retention up 28% after redesigning its quarterly review decks.
- A 22-slide Series A deck, rebuilt into a story-led structure, helped close the round within nine weeks.
In each case the client kept the editable files from the presentation design subscription, so internal teams could update numbers without coming back for small edits.
Subscription and custom plans
The $699 plan fits most small businesses. Teams that need more move to a custom plan, which can add:
- More active requests for higher monthly output
- Dedicated designer and account support
- Multi-brand workflows for agencies and holding companies
- Larger production such as full video or web builds
Ownership terms are identical on both. The presentation design subscription and branding design subscription work the same way inside either plan.
Market growth and the PitchWorx vision

Mordor Intelligence values the global graphic design market at $59.29 billion in 2026, rising to $85.53 billion by 2031, a 7.6% annual growth rate. The same research credits AI-assisted production for making flat-fee unlimited plans viable.
PitchWorx runs its subscription and custom model across the USA, UK, UAE and India, with a focus on US and UK small businesses that want senior design quality without agency invoices or hiring costs. The goal is one design partner, one flat price, and files the client fully owns.
"An unlimited design subscription only works if the client walks away owning everything," Dharmendra said. "That is the standard we hold in every market we serve."
